According to Troopers, Tupper currently has three outstanding felony warrants for his arrest. The felony warrants are related to original charges of Misconduct Involving Controlled Substance II, III, IV degree, driving with no valid license, criminal trespass, and eluding/evading a police officer. FacebookTwitterEmailPrintFriendly分享UPDATE: Alaska State Troopers have identified the wanted man shot by officers in Nikiski yesterday as 37-year-old Brian Tupper. At approximately 11:45am Wednesday, multiple troopers and officers from the Kenai Police Department responded to Nikiski in an attempt to take Tupper into custody for the warrants. Troopers say that as they were forming a perimeter to contact Tupper, Tupper drove a vehicle at an Alaska State Trooper and multiple troopers fired their service weapons in response. Tupper was stuck by gunfire. Tupper is receiving treatment for his injuries that were sustained in the shooting incident. The investigation into the shooting incident is being handled by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation. The identity of the Troopers involved won’t be released for 72 hours, per department policy. Those officers are currently on leave.
