Lilly Expanding jobs training programs, investing in road and bridge infrastructure, and making government accountable are key items which state Rep. Jim Lilly, of Park Township, emphasized in the 2017-18 House Republican Action Plan that was announced recently at the Capitol.The Action Plan, entitled “The Best Way Forward” details key priorities of the current House session and is the result of thousands of doors knocked and conversations with constituents.“Improved jobs training programs will go a long way towards making our region much more attractive for economic and business growth,” Lilly said. “A better trained workforce is also a more prosperous one, giving Michigan’s citizens more money in their wallets and better employment choices.“Like so many areas across the state, our roads and bridges can also use improvement,” Lilly said. “Efficient and effective maintenance schedules and comprehensive asset management plans are further ways we can continue to move Michigan forward.
